I discovered the magic of theatre when I fell under the spell of the school nativity play. I was six. Since then, I have been making plays trying to recapture the enchantment.

I am constantly drawn to writing plays inspired by real people and true events – wanting to explore how far I can connect with someone else’s life and then to share that with an audience.

A play’s inherent themes can be amazing, fascinating - because there are always common resonances in our individual stories. The Play’s The Thing - that connects us.
